Development Program
The Nasittuq Development Program is designed to help people work towards a more senior level status and requires on the job training with a qualified technical trades person or professional. A designation or certificate is completed at the end of this program. Development positions are full time permanent and employees are entitled to full company benefits.
As Nasittuq looks to the future, the Training Program will act as a springboard into the Development Program to create more senior technical level skills and ultimately further employment opportunities for Nasittuq Inuit employees.
In place since 1988, Nasittuq has a sponsorship/donation program (charity and non-charity events/organizations) as well our employees volunteer time and resources. Nasittuq is a proud sponsor of youth and youth related initiatives. Sponsor such events as; an annual Cancer Memorial golf tournament in Goose Bay, Labrador, Bidders conferences, help RCMP with drug/alcohol awareness camps etc.
Nasittuq will continue to educate and provide assistance to potential vendors in understanding the bid process on Nasittuq and Government contracting and procurement procedures/requirements to gain mutually beneficial partnerships with Inuit suppliers. This will help build new and maintain existing relationships.
